I’ve been doing a subject called “New Testament Survey” this semester, which follows on from “Old Testament Survey” and basically just goes through the entire New Testament – book structures, historical background, major controversies – very quickly.
Part of the subject is to read copious amounts of the assigned books in preparation for the lesson each week. However, the university has recently been led to understand by the national course accreditation people that students can’t actually be marked on reading things, since we’re meant to be reading class texts anyway. So, therefore, we must right a short paragraph reflecting on each passage we read to prove that we have indeed read it.
Since it’s the end of term already, I actually have them all written, but I’ll just post the first three weeks’ worth now, and then the rest every Monday to correspond with the Bible Verse Challenge verse.
