Reflective Paragraphs Week 2 – Luke 15-16

I’m beginning to sound like a scratched record, but really, the Gospels are so fast-paced and packed full of so much, how can I not? These chapters contain some of the better-known parables: the Lost Sheep, the Lost Coin, the Prodigal Son, the Steward Who Didn’t Pass On Mercy (I’m sure that’s not what it’s known as), the Rich Man and Lazarus… I’m already using up words. A theme which ties the ends of these two chapters together neatly is the idea that it’s the ones who are not seen as good or great or holy in this world that God welcomes into heaven, while those who are are often too full of themselves to see their need for Him.
