Psalm 100, A Song of Thanksgiving

Yes, I know the Hebrew is written the wrong way, but for some reason the WordPress typepad keeps reversing the order of the words.

miz-mór l-tódáh

a song as a thanksgiving offering

hariy-‘ú la-adonay kál há-árets

shout to the Lord, all the land

‘iv-dú et-adonay b-sim-kháh

work for the Lord in all gladness

bo-ú l-pánáyv bir-nánáh

come before His face in exultation

d-‘ú kiy-adonay hú’ elohiym

know that the Lord, he is God

hú’ ásánú v-ló anakh-nú

He made us and [it’s] not us [who did]

[anakh-nú] ‘amó v-tso’n mar-‘iytó

[we] are His people and the sheep of His pasture

bo-ú sh-‘áráyv b-tódáh

come to His gate in a thanksgiving song

khatsérotáyv bit-hiláh

[and to] His courtyard in a praise song

hódú-ló

thank Him

bárakú sh-mú

bless His name

kiy tóv adonay

because the Lord is good

l-‘ólam khas-dú

His lovingkindness is forever

v-‘ad dor vador emúnáhó

and His faithfulness is to generation after generation
